Eamonn Holmes shared an adorable photo of his pet dog after she had a major mood swing.
This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes took to his social media to share an adorable photo of his pet dog Maggie.
Eamonn Holmes is notoriously a fan of football club Manchester United, so after the team lost 6-1 to London team Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening, the ITV presenter and his pet dog Maggie were understandably upset.
Taking to his Instagram page with a before and after photo of Maggie, Eamonn revealed the major mood swing that the pooch had after the game.
Firstly, he shared a black and white photo of Maggie propping herself on a car seat with a beaming smile on her face and her ears standing up.
However, Eamonn then shared a second photo of his four-legged friend lying on the carpet looking very sorry for herself.
‘How are these even the same dog ... ?’ Eamonn wrote alongside the photos. ‘Well they are. Just different faces before and after the Spurs match 🙄😟😳🥺 Like her Master. #mufc #manchesterunited #dogsofinstagram #dogstrustdog’.
And fans found the photos and caption hilarious and adorable, with the post raking up thousands of likes and hundreds of comments from the TV presenter’s followers.
‘Too cute 🐶 - Maggie feels your pain @eamonnholmes x,’ wrote one fan, while another commented, ‘Feel Maggie’s pain🤦♀️’.
‘Cheer up Maggie,’ wrote another fan, adding, ‘@eamonnholmes the Liverpool score was the only thing that made my United mad Husband slightly cheer up about! So he feels your pain 😔’.
‘My dogs are sulking like their daddy,’ agreed another football fan, as another joked, ‘My other half had the same 2 faces, there just wasn't enough wine in the world!! 🍷🙄🍷🙄’.
Other fans simply couldn’t get over how adorable the pet dog looked in the photos, writing, ‘Awww Maggie ❤️❤️❤️’, ‘Such a beautiful little girl ❤️’, ‘Sending love mags🌈😘’, ‘Such a cutie 🐶🐶🐾🐾🥰🥰’ and ‘Lovely doggie 🐶 💕’.
Let’s hope Maggie managed to cheer up!
