I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! has finally wrapped, leaving its brave contestants with some unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and of course, a hefty paycheque.

The ITV reality series came to a merciful end last night (Sunday, 12 December) after a rollercoaster three weeks on air, crowning soap star Danny Miller the first-ever 'King of the Castle' in its nail-bitingly tense finale.

The Emmerdale actor beat out fellow I'm a Celebrity 2021 contestants Frankie Bridge and Simon Gregson in the show's last episode, having enjoyed fan-favorite status from Day One inside the camp.

With this year's I'm a Celebrity facing a litany of obstacles, including a disastrous storm and Richard Madeley's hospitalization, the Mancunian's positive attitude is likely what kept him in viewers' good graces for so long. His victory was unsurprisingly celebrated by the show's loyal audience, with many taking to social media to congratulate and praise his consistently upbeat personality.

Danny didn't mince words when asked about his reasons for entering the grueling competition, revealing on Good Morning Britain that his motives were entirely money-driven. As a proud father to newborn Albert, the 30-year-old knew that the show would help him invest in his son's life.

“I have made no secret about the fact that I wanted to be able to give him and set him up for a good future. I wasn’t financially set for that and this is an opportunity to do that," he explained.

While it has not been revealed what Danny earned for his I'm a Celebrity appearance, it's speculated that he negotiated a deal of £75,000 with ITV bosses.

Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley is rumored to have earned £200,000 for his participation, but his untimely exit due to health concerns may have jeopardized this figure.

As for elite athletes Matty Lee and Kadeena Cox, it's believed that they each took home a considerably more modest cheque of about £50,000.
