Prince William might be more talented than we expected, as he showed off his musical abilities during a royal engagement earlier this week.

It’s fair to say it’s been an eventful few weeks for the royal family, who are going through significant changes after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan decided to step back as ‘senior’ royals.

But earlier this week it was back to work for William and Catherine, who had a royal engagement in Bradford.

At the event, the pair kept up appearances and avoided the controversial topic – so much so that William even showed off his musical talent.

The video was shared by Sky’s royal reporter Rhiannon Mills, who wrote on Twitter, ‘No matter what’s been going on behind the scenes Prince William isn’t giving anything away, lots of smiles, handshaking and who knew he was so musical...watch to the end.’

Fans were quick to comment on the video, praising William for being laidback at the event.

One said, ‘Omg,l like this guy . I love his willingness to jump in and have fun .just going with the flow.’

Another added, ‘Love him!! Hahaha’. How funny!

It’s know William has been in discussions with his brother and his father on how their new relationship will work, and the Queen has issued an official statement on the issue.

'Today my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family,’ wrote the Queen in her statement.

‘My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan’s desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.

'Harry and Meghan have made clear that they do not want to be reliant on public funds in their new lives.

‘It has therefore been agreed that there will be a period of transition in which the Sussexes will spend time in Canada and the UK.

'These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days.'
