Prince Charles' heartfelt tribute to the Queen, on the day she becomes the oldest living monarch in history, includes the other main women in his life—Princess Anne and Duchess Camilla.

Prince Charles' tribute to the Queen on her birthday is both personal and professional, as her darling son and heir apparent. Featuring the hardest working royal Princess Anne, and his beloved wife Duchess Camilla, the Instagram post celebrates the main women in his life.

The caption reads, "Wishing Her Majesty The Queen a particularly special 96th birthday today, as we celebrate her Platinum Jubilee year. 🎊🎈"

The post comes in the wake of a rare childhood photo of the Queen touched the hearts of her fans across the globe and the release of the Queen’s birthday photo—her latest official portrait.

Although the pair have always been close, it's evident that Her Majesty took a while to warm to her daughter-in-law, the Duchess of Cornwall. However, the images in this post, along with the Queen saying Duchess Camilla will be Queen, are a sure-fire sign that they've become very close.

The Cambridges also took to their social media to celebrate the big day, with an adorable post paying tribute to the close bond between the monarch, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

Alongside the first image, they paid tribute to the loving relationship between the late Prince Philip and the Queen's great-grandchildren.
