The touching meaning behind Pippa Middleton's holiday scarf
After the Christmas period, Pippa Middleton jetted off to the sunnier climes of the Caribbean, for a family holiday to St. Barts.
She was joined by mum Carole, dad Michael, husband James and their new, 11-week old baby, Arthur, for the sun-soaked break away from miserable England.
And eagle-eyed fans noticed that the new mum had packed a particularly poignant fashion item in her suitcase for the festive break - a green and white spotted scarf/neck tie, which she carried in a basket for a beach walk with her husband.
The scarf is from one of the Duchess of Cambridge's favourite designers, Beulah London, and actually has a very special meaning behind it.
The chic silk neck tie was made in collaboration with The Women’s Interlink Foundation and Key to Freedom, which both support disadvantaged women, vulnerable children and communities access to basic amenities.
And the actually charity has a firm royal connection, with the Key to Freedom project having been championed by the Duke and Duchess of York in the beginning. The project selling scarves made by women in disadvantaged areas sold on, with profits enabling them to live a life employed, and free from abuse and trafficking.

And so it seems Pippa is keen to support her extended family, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and a brilliantly worthwhile cause with her purchase - which set her back £50.
Not only that, but the 34-year-old will have been encouraged to pass on her good deed, with the "Bless it Forward" scarf, which gives buyers an extra silk tie with every one you purchase.
The website explains that you should 'give [it] to someone you love and want to bless'. So could it have been a belated Christmas gift from Pippa to her sister Catherine?
We haven't yet seen the Duchess of Cambridge sporting a similar silk tie - but we reckon she'd be in full support of this important project.
