The Duchess of Cornwall, or Camilla Parker Bowles as she's also known, has really made an impression on the British general public and royal fans across the globe. One of her latest fans is sure to be one of TeamGB's equestrian stars, who happily let her touch his medal!
The Duchess of Cornwall honored the success of the TeamGB Equestrian Team during the Tokyo 2020 Games at a special reception. As patron of the British Equestrian Federation, which she has been since 2006, she welcomed athletes to Clarence House on February 8.
Tokyo was the most successful games ever for TeamGB’s equestrian competitors, who brought home 13 medals in total—five gold, four silver, and four bronze.
Horses are a passion shared by many of the Royal Family and something that brings them together. One example of such a bond is that between the Duchess and her sister-in-law the Princess Royal.
Princess Anne's Olympic past, as an equestrian, means that she's super involved in TeamGB, as president of the British Olympic Federation. Only recently, Princess Anne's touching nod to Prince Philip and his support of her sporting dreams brought fans great joy.

Far from the allegedly fraught relationship between the Duchess and her sister-in-law, it's been revealed that Princess Anne and Duchess Camilla's new relationship means they're like 'old friends.' Something these old friends clearly share is an interest in all things equine and Olympic!
There's no denying that her relationship with Prince Charles has caused a lot of controversy over the years. Long before either of their previous marriages ended, there were rumors that they were having an ongoing affair.
These allegations became even more public when Princess Diana's no infamous Martin Bashir interview addressed the issue head-on. In the years since, Prince William revealed that the BBC's 'lies' in the Princess Diana interview worsened his parents' relationship, in one of the most openly emotional statements ever seen from the future King.
Although it appears that the hurt from their unconventional relationship remains, it's said that Prince William will accept Camilla as Queen, even after 'huge family rows' and his brother's decision to remain silent on the matter.
