Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz could tie the knot at St. Paul’s Cathedral – the same place Princess Diana and Prince Charles got married 39 years ago.
Brooklyn’s famous parents, David, 45, and Victoria, 46, are both OBE’s – which means they’re entitled to look into the popular venue for their son.
According to The Sun, an insider revealed the couple are in charge of plans for the British part of the celebration.
“David and Victoria are aware Brooklyn can get married at St Paul’s. They are overseeing their British wedding and want to make sure it has the wow factor for Nicola’s family,” the source said.
“If they went ahead, the wedding would have real gravitas and set the benchmark for what comes later in America.”
But the prestigious venue – which was the backdrop for Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ wedding in 1981 – comes with a waiting list, which means the couple could have to wait until 2022 to tie the knot there.
Which leaves the couple “weighing up their options”.
“A wedding at St Paul’s has to include at least one Bible reading and contemporary music is banned so they would have to have something traditional.
“Plus St Paul’s is open to the public so they would have a lot of people milling around. Also, there’s a long waiting list so it would be 2022 before they could go ahead, at the earliest.”
Brooklyn, 21, popped the question last month - just eight months after getting together with Nicola.
He announced the exciting news on Instagram two weeks later, paying tribute to his “soul mate”.
Sharing a snap of him and 25-year-old Nicola, he wrote, ” Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes xx I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx”
But fans have been left convinced in recent weeks that the pair are already married, as Brooklyn sports what looks like a wedding band.
When approached for a comment, a spokesperson for the family said, “We don’t have a comment on this.”
