Strictly Come Dancing is undeniably the hot topic of the moment. With the 15th series of the show soon approaching in September, the celebrity contestants are slowly being revealed, and excitement is building for the next installment of one of the biggest shows in the world.
But of course, Strictly 2017 will look a bit different to recent years. We already know that the judging panel won’t be the same, as legendary judge Len Goodman won’t be returning, with his place as Head Judge already handed over to newbie Shirley Ballas.
But could there be a shake-up in the Strictly presenting line-up for this year’s show?
Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly present the main Strictly show, and have done since Claudia joined from the spin-off show Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two back in 2011.
Zoe Ball took over from Claudia’s role, and has presented It Takes Two solo for six years – but could she soon have a professional dancer presenting partner join her to front the programme?
Rumour has it that pro dancer Ian Waite, who has also provided some expert analysis of the dances on the main show on It Takes Two in the past, might well be joining Zoe as co-host on the spin-off.

Chatting about his current guest spot on the show, Ian admitted how much he loved the gig.
Speaking to OK!, he said, “I love my gig on It Takes Two because it’s so much fun and we are like little family.
“I’ve been doing it for six years this year, can you believe it? I just love working with Zoe.”
And chatting about whether he might potentially join Zoe as co-host, Ian admitted he’d love the chance, revealing, “It’s something I’d love to do and given the opportunity I’d die for it.”
(Could Ian Waite be the new It Takes Two host?)
But he also confessed that he might not quite be ready for the responsibility yet. Ian said, “I think I’d need more presenting work first, and Zoe is such an expert and has been doing it for so many years.
“I could never be anywhere near as good as her, but we get on so well and I would love any opportunity to work with Zoe, presenting together.”
“We have so much fun it doesn’t even feel like work, it’s just like an afternoon out!”
And clearly, the idea would be a welcome change for the pair, who are incredibly close outside of the show too. Ian was Zoe’s partner when she took part in the show back in 2005, and recently, she supported Ian on his wedding day to partner Drew Merriman.
Despite a difficult year personally, given the recent death of her partner Billy Yates, Zoe stood beside Ian on his big day, and spoke about her close bond with the dancer.
Speaking to OK! magazine on the big day, she confessed, “We all cried – I’m so happy to see him so happy.
“Drew had a lot to live up to really, all us ‘wives’ had to approve and we wholeheartedly do,
“Ian is the best. I’m obviously completely in love with him – I was tempted to say, ‘It should have been me!'”
