The Loose Women panellists are some of the TV's most celebrated personalities - and usually breeze through their midday ITV show without error.
But of course everyone makes mistakes, and on Friday’s episode, viewers were there to witness Nadia make a rather hilarious on-screen error – for the first time in her career.
The Loose ladies were discussing the etiquette of wearing a bikini in front of your children.
Nadia was explaining that since doing the Loose Women body stories campaign, she’s been keen not to hide her body from her kids – and has endeavoured to ditch the sarong when out and about on the beach.
In signature Nadia style, the presented then went on to confess that she even makes a point of being naked in front of her kids – if only a few times a year.
The star’s confession left the audiences in fits of giggles – but it was then that Nadia experienced a slightly embarrassing on-air blunder.
In a moment of silence, a phone began to ring, leaving Nadia Sawalha wide-eyed in fear.
She asked, panicking, “Something’s going off, is that me?”
And, after realising it was in fact her mobile, she cried, “Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry. My God.”
The mum-of-two explained that it’s never happened to her previously, at any point in her 30-year-long TV career.
She said, “I’m so sorry. I’ve never done that in my TV career.”
The hilarious blunder prompted a wave of laughter from the studio audience, as well as Nadia’s panellists, Andrea McLean, Jane Moore and Stacey Solomon.
Jane even went on to joke that the call was Nadia’s children reacting to her confession earlier on. She laughed, saying, “It’s your children saying, ‘I can’t believe you said that!'”
Nadia was quick to clear up the cause of the call, saying it was her front doorbell ringing – which is attached to her phone via an app.
