With rumours circulating that M&S could be scrapping their £10, ‘Dine in for 2’ deal, low-cost supermarket chain Lidl has now revealed that it is serving up it’s own tasty offering.

Customers can get a main, side, dessert, and a bottle of wine from £10.50 – ideal for a cosy meal at home, without the hassle of washing up afterwards.

For mains, you can choose from Deluxe Beef Lasagne, Deluxe Cottage Pie, Deluxe Meatballs Alforno or Deluxe Crispy Pancetta Mac & Cheese – all of which are priced at £3.99.

In addition to this, customers can add those final flourishes to their meal thanks to some delicious sides.

These come in the form of a Meadow Fresh Side Salad for 93p or a Chef Select Garlic Baguette for 85p.

And for a sweet final note to their menu, customers can choose from either 2 Deluxe Melt in the Middle Puddings for £1.59 or 2 Deluxe Cheesecakes for £1.69.

The supermarket is also catering to wine buffs with a pleasing selection of plonk.

They can choose from either the Cimarosa Cabernet Sauvignon, £4.25, for those who love red or the Cimarosa Australian Chardonnay for £3.99 if a lighter white wine ticks more of their tipple boxes.

Commenting on the launch, Ryan McDonnell, Lidl’s Commercial Director, said:

‘Our customers know that we provide great quality at brilliant prices without needing to offer meal deals. These latest additions to our Deluxe range really reinforce the amazing savings customers can get on luxury food and drink, every day of the year.’

The meals included in the deal are available seven days a week, year round, meaning that you’ll never miss out.

And if you want to continue the luxe eating and drinking experience into the next day, you’ll be pleased to hear that Lidl also recently launched a bargain coffee pod machine for a morning brew.

We’re earmarking a weekend night in to enjoy these.
