Jennifer Aniston stuns with uncanny Barbra Streisand resemblance as she celebrates the icon’s 80th birthday
Jennifer Aniston celebrated Barbra Streisand’s birthday with a series of Instagram posts recreating iconic Barbra photos

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so Jennifer Aniston most definitely gave Barbra Streisand a huge compliment this weekend.
In a series of photos posted online in homage to Barbra Streisand on her birthday, Jennifer all but transformed into the legendary singer. The resemblance was so uncanny fans were flocking to the comments insisting Jennifer must portray the Funny Girl icon in a movie at some point.

Posting four photos in total—two of Barbra and two of herself—Jennifer recreated both looks flawlessly. The first was a photo of Barbra wearing a flatcap and the second was an iconic Barbra image from the ending of Funny Girl.
With her signature winged eyeliner, chic up-do, and side-profile pose, Jennifer twinned with Barbra.
Jennifer captioned the post, “Muse, legend, always inspired by the one and only. Happy Barbra Streisand day.”
The photos were taken from a previous shoot of Jennifer’s for Harpers Bazaar magazine. Talking about her love and admiration for The Way We Were star, Jennifer said, "She's a true Renaissance woman. There isn't anything she hasn't done that she wanted to do."
Fans couldn’t quite get over the likeness between the two. One wrote, “Yes, Jennifer Aniston should absolutely play Barbara Streisand in a biopic.”

Another added, “There isn’t many that could pull off recreating a Barbara photo but you deffo [sic] did.”
One excited fan summed it up perfectly, claiming “THIS IS WHAT QUEENS LOOK LIKE.”
Many of Jennifer and Barbra’s celebrity friends joined in with the comments. Actress Rita Wilson praised the post, writing “such gorgeous photos and stellar homage.”
Actor Richard E. Grant (who is a self-confessed Barbra Streisand superfan) responded to Jennifer’s likeness with a string of love heart emojis.

Barbra, who celebrated a milestone birthday on April 24, hasn’t responded to Jennifer’s Instagram posts yet, but she previously addressed the original magazine shoot.
"I was very flattered that Jennifer Aniston chose to interpret my style with the photos in Harper's Bazaar," Barbra wrote on her personal blog.
"She's a delightful person, and I think she did a wonderful job," she wrote, and jokingly added, "If only she had a bump on her nose."
