And we’re off! Awards season has kicked off in style across the pond in LA with the ever-glamorous Golden Globes.

Brie Larson became one of the most talked-about names in a glittering gown, Helen Mirren donned a figure-fitting black sheer-detailed floor sweeper and a new style icon was born in the form of The Danish Girl’s Alicia Viaknder who looked resplendent in an embellished white gown by Louis Vuitton.
Helen Mirren proves once again that she has red carpet dressing down perfectly in this stunning black gown. Shoulders are the focus in fashion this season, and Helen showed hers off perfectly in a sweetheart neckline with sheer panels - not to mention that necklace! The actress is up for her 14th Golden Globes nomination - this time as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Trumbo.
Remember the name Brie Larson - the newcomer will be everywhere this awards' season thanks to her role in Room, for which she was nominated for a Best Actress Golden Globe. She's a regular fixture on awards show red carpets, and Jennifer Lawrence's arrival is always one of the most anticipated. She didn't disappoint this year, opting for go-to designer Dior in a stunning shade of red. The cut-out column dress was paired with a stand-out choker necklace for a look that's bound to make all the best dressed lists this year.

Jane Fonda turned heads (as always!) in her white gown. Love it or hate it, this Yves Saint Laurent Couture gown was certainly one of the most memorable!
Another gothic gown from a Game of Thrones star. The gorgeous black high neck dress with lace overlay was very different from the mass of simple, romantic gowns dominating the red carpet this year, but equally as head turning.
Calista opted for jewel tones, as did many other stars on the red carpet. The detailed bodice looked stunning, and the flute sleeves and floaty chiffon makes this the perfect occasion dress. Now, where can we find a high street version for this year's weddings..?
