Method
- Set oven to 180c.160fan/gas 4. Line the base of a 20x30cm cake tin with baking parchment.
Melt the butter , caster sugar and golden syrup together in a medium pan, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. 3 Remove from the heat and stir in the oats, and chopped apple and cinnamon then spread the mixture into the tin and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Leave until cold before turning out of the tin. Cut into bars.

- 2 eating apples, peeled and chopped
