There’s something so comforting about chocolate puddings served with a big dollop of ice cream – it’s such an indulgent pudding and really easy to make.
While it can be tempting to buy something from the shops, this easy dessert recipe (opens in new tab) is so quick to make that it’s a shame not to create the magic yourself. It would also make a really great Valentine's Day recipe (opens in new tab) for a special celebration pud.
It’s super quick to make in the microwave and you’ll know exactly what’s going into your pudding too so there’s no preservatives or hidden sugar. You’ll need some ramekins, but you could try making this pud in a mug too if you’ve not got any.
It takes minutes to combine all the ingredients and pop it in the microwave, and you’ll probably have most of the bits you need in the cupboard anyway, so it’s a great dessert recipe (opens in new tab) to keep handy if you have any chocolate craving emergencies!
This recipe makes enough for two people but if you’ve got a whole family to feed you can just double it as many times as you need.
