Swap supermarket sprays for Purdy & Figg's charity cleaning collection – in support of breast cancer awareness
This collaboration is as good an excuse as any to treat your cleaning cupboard (and to check your chest)
We've all watched a Purdy & Figg advert, coveted those beautifully scented bottles, and then popped the supermarket own-brand in the trolley instead. This autumn, though, the natural cleaning brand is giving us good reason to finally invest in some luxury cleaning products: their collaboration with breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!
For a limited time, Purdy & Figg is selling a "pink" range with different cleaning products for your home, from their classic trio of Counter Clean scents to their Marjoram & Geranium Oh! De Loo drops
50p from every sale goes directly to CoppaFeel! meaning your little home treat doubles up as support for the charity. It's reason enough to swap the supermarket alternative for the real thing this time round
The Purdy & Figg collaboration is a revival of last year's campaign, which raised over £10,000 for CoppaFeel! - proof small purchases add up to a meaningful sum.
The partnership speaks directly to why both companies were founded. Jack Rubin, Founder and CEO at Purdy & Figg explains that the brand is based "around the power of small, positive daily rituals" whether that's chest checking or giving the house a good clean. He champions the collaboration because it "helps to turn a routine household chore into a regular, life-saving reminder" and to spark conversations that save lives.
This is echoed by Lucy Barnes, Corporate Partnerships Manager at CoppaFeel! She explains that partnerships are important "not only to raise vital funds, but also to reach a wider audience than we could alone. CoppaFeel! exists to educate, encourage and empower young people to know their bodies and to end the late detection of breast cancer."
Purdy & Figg's collaboration doesn't just promise to work hard for charity, it promises to make your home smell incredible, whether you're using geranium and ylang ylang in the kitchen, pink grapefruit and pepper in the bathroom, and rose and clove in the bedroom. It'll make you want to clean, not just because you have to.
