Welcoming a royal baby
The world's eyes were on Kate Middleton as she stepped out of the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London yesterday evening. And as much as everyone was excited to see the royal baby, what Kate would be wearing was also very much on everyone's minds. As the Duchess hadn't been seen in public since June 15, there was building interest in what outift she would choose to reveal the new heir to the waiting cameras.
Kate didn't disappoint with a pretty blue polka dot dress by Jenny Packham to signify the arrival of her new baby boy. One of Middleton's favourite designers, Jenny Packham has become a wardrobe must-have for Kate over the last few years. And when the Duchess of Cambridge finds a designer whose dresses suit her hectic schedule of engagements - from royal receptions to days out at the polo - they become a firm favourite!
British designer Jenny Packham's feminine, flowing cuts and delicate colour palette are a perfect match for Kate. Snapped whenever she steps out as she travels with Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge is a brilliant ambassador for British fashion. From the incredible dress Sarah Burton created for the royal wedding to more McQueen, Stella McCartney or the British high street, Kate champions British style wherever she goes.
