A third agreed: “That's lovely Ruth. It's nice that you have each other. ♥️”

Speaking on Loose Women, Ruth had previously praised her sister Julia for being there for their mum. She said: "My mum is in her eighties, and she doesn’t live that far from me.

"And my sister Julia is amazing, she lives a lot nearer to my mum and she does a lot for my mum. She's always there and I'm always working."

Ruth Langsford added that she has that “working girl daughter guilt”, admitting that life sometimes gets in the way and she isn't able to visit her mum as much as she'd like to.

We’re so pleased to see that Ruth and Joan enjoyed some quality time together. What better way to spend a Wednesday than enjoying a meal with a loved one?
