Dawn French is set to return as Reverend Geraldine Granger for a one-off special as part of the BBC's The Big Night In.
62-year-old Dawn French teased the news on twitter last night, with a close up picture of herself in costume, with the caption, ‘Hmmm. Somethin interestin this way comes.... Thurs @BBCOne 7-10pm #BigNightIn’ Cryptic!
Fans were pleased to hear that the show - and Dawn - are making a return to screens.
‘This is just what I needed to hear!’ while another wrote, ‘That would make our quarantine a tiny bit mavellous!!!’

The special Comic Relief show will air Thursday 23 April, and will be hosted by Dawn’s ex husband Lenny Henry.Zoe Ball, Paddy McGuinness, Matt Baker and Davina McCall will also make an appearance on the big night.
