Chrissy Teigen is taking a stand on behalf of women everywhere. The model and cookbook author announced her new campaign, Fertility Out Loud, to get rid of the stigma associated with pregnancy struggles.
The program, which partners with Ferring and RESOLVE, aims to support and guide women on their journey, whether that means finding a specialist, understanding the insurance paperwork, or learning about different options for their families. Chrissy, who struggled with a miscarriage of her own in fall 2020, has no problem advocating for others and using her platform to bring people together.
"You guys know (or now you do) that John and I went through IVF to get pregnant with Luna and Miles," she wrote on Instagram. "What you might not know is how isolating fertility issues can be. Over the past few months, I’ve met other women who are facing fertility challenges and realized there is a community out there, so no one has to face this alone."

The social media-savvy star, who is not one to shy away from beauty recs and a few sarcastic notes on her channels, is constantly making headlines for her virtual antics—Twitter deletions, resurgences, and everything in between. But perhaps what garnered the most attention was her vulnerability when it came to her own pregnancy struggles in 2020. There were times she took to social media to share the news of losing her third child, Jack.

In a lengthy post, she detailed the horrors her family experienced and why she decided to share the story of that hospital stay on Instagram.
"These photos are only for people who need them," she said. "The thoughts of others do not matter to me."
We hope her efforts—most notably Fertility Out Loud—will help women find what they need.
