While Piers Morgan is on his summer break from Good Morning Britain, a variety of presenters have been stepping in to cover his role.
And now, the ITV show has confirmed to OK! magazine that one rather divisive presenter will be filling in for Piers from 20th August.
Jeremy Kyle will be joining the show in Piers’ place for four days, from the Monday until Thursday 23rd August.
He will be appearing alongside Ranvir Singh, who has been covering Susanna Reid’s role during her summer break.
Jeremy has covered for Piers on numerous occasions before, employing his typically straightforward style to present the popular morning show.
However, it appears fans of the programme have been left divided over Jeremy Kyle’s return.
On a Tweet sharing the news, some viewers were delighted that Jeremy would be making a comeback.
One happy watcher wrote, ‘Thank God much better host’, and another agreed, commenting, ‘Great!!!!’
A third fan also said, ‘Jeremy kyle like his show good choice’.
However, other viewers were less pleased, with some confessing that they’d rather have Piers back in his normal hosting seat.
One social media user said, ‘I love GMB when @piersmorgan is on so won’t be watching until he is back’. While another commented, ‘Oh dear god no!’
One other viewer wrote, ‘No way will I watch with him as a host’, while a fourth said, ‘No no no no no can’t stand him!!’
What do you think of Jeremy as a temporary co-host?
In Piers and Susanna’s absence, a host of TV presenters have filled in. Most recently, Eamonn Holmes filled in for Piers on the Thursday morning show, and was joined again by Ranvir.
However, Richard Madeley, Adil Ray and Ben Shepherd have also covered the role too in the past few weeks.
GMB co-host Kate Garraway has also covered Susanna during her time off.
