Statutory Redundancy...what are you entitled to?

The statutory pay-out once you've been with an employer for two years is one week's pay for each year you've worked for your employer up to the age of 41. When calculating a statutory redundancy payment, weekly pay is capped at £430. You are entitled to 1.5 weeks pay for each year you've worked for your employer over the age of 41, not as was printed in our March issue , six times.  Use the calculator at direct.gov.uk/redundancy.dsb.
