Join the Race For Kids this summer and raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital

by Lyndsay Conway Google+ on Friday, 1 February 2013

We've all made new year's resolutions to get fit and give back a bit more to our favourite charities - now is our chance to make 2013 the year we follow through with those promises. Get involved with something great this year, and sing up to a charity run with a difference.

From fitness enthusiasts to fun-seekers, everyone is welcome to take part in the RBC Race for the Kids to help raise vital funds for Great Ormand Street Hospital. Once you've finished the race (whether you walk, jog or run), there's the opportunity to make a day of it with post-race activities and entertainment for all the family.

The money raised will go towards essential redevelopment of the hospital, creating new facilities that will enable Great Ormand Street to treat more children and give researchers and clinical staff the resources they need to develop new treatments.

Now in it's fourth year, the race takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Battersea Park on Sunday June 9. So gather friends, colleagues or family members and help raise money for this worthy cause.
