The brains behind our favourite political satire The Thick Of It - Armando Iannucci - has turned his attention to American politics. Veep, short for Vice President, stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, who takes up the prestigious role and quickly discovers the job comes with lots of unpleasant surprises. Expect an ensemble cast of outrageous characters, a razor-sharp script and lots of laughs. And even more good news for The Thick Of It fans - the comedy returns to BBC2 at the end of August.
