Prince William makes sweet confession about his in-laws
Prince William and the Middleton's share a close bond

Prince William has revealed just how much Kate Middleton's family mean to him after months apart due to the covid-19 pandemic.
- Prince William is currently on a Royal Tour of Scotland
- The Duke of Cambridge revealed how much family mean to him, including Kate Middleton's family who he 'loves'
- It follows royal news that Prince Harry reveals he can feel Princess Diana's presence and knows she would have 'been proud of him'
Prince William has confirmed family is still everything to him, despite the turbulence and unrest in his own family in recent months.
The Duke of Cambridge made the admission during a Royal Tour of Scotland, where he was joined by a table of first responders.
Opening up about being apart from his own relatives during the pandemic, Prince William - who recently had his vaccination - said, "The funny thing is when I spoke to my family I found it so good to catch up — but then you haven’t anything to catch up on because no one had done anything.”
While one of the guests joked it had been a blessing not to see their in-laws in months, Prince William confessed just how much he'd missed Kate Middleton's parents.
"Some people are happy they haven’t seen their in-laws for a year," he said. “I love my in-laws.”

Prince William's admission comes just days after Prince Harry launched another attack on the royal family and claimed he'd been met with "total neglect" following the tragic death of their mother, Princess Diana.
Speaking as part of his upcoming mental health docuseries, The Me You Can't See, The Duke of Sussex spoke about his unresolved trauma.
In particular, the Duke claimed he was told to grin and bear it when it came to his mental health. He explained, “I thought my family would help but every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, got met with total silence or total neglect."
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they took part in their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March.
With rumoured tension amongst the royals following Prince Harry's bold claims, it's no surprise Prince William is leaning on Carole and Michael Middleton.
Having grown up in a royal bubble, Prince William is said to love spending time with the Middleton's.
Royal experts have even suggested the Middleton family are an "anchor" for the future King and provide a "sense of normality".
Speaking to OK! magazine, Katie Nicholl said, “The Middletons have always been that anchor for Kate and William.
“It’s a real sense of normality amid any chaos. William has always loved spending time with all the Middletons as it’s his escapism.”
Their close family dynamic has always been an underlying influence in how Prince William and Kate Middleton raise their own three children - Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three.
“William has found weekends away with them so relaxing. It’s a close-knit family and more than anything, they’re very normal. It’s the family dynamic he wished he’d had growing up and it’s how he’s trying to raise his own kids.”
