The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are one of the most iconic royal couples in the world.

Flashback to the spring of 2011 and royal wedding of the decade was taking place and the topic of conversation across the nation was on the fact that Prince Willaim was marrying “commoner” Kate Middleton.

Duchess Catherine had lived a totally un-royal life until she met future King, Prince William. She was born to parents Carole and Michael Middleton in 1982 and grew up in Berkshire alongside her younger siblings Pippa and James.

Despite not having royal in laws, Prince William is said to love the Middleton family and share a great relationship with them.

“In William's eyes Carole and Michael can do no wrong,” said journalist Anna Pasternak in Tatler’s recent feature, delving into the life of Catherine.

“He absolutely adores them.

"Michael is charming. Really kind, soft and gentle. William loves going to the country to stay with them. Their family life is so soothing for him as it's so different from his own family,” the magazine reports.

The Duke of Cambridge is also said to love spending time with Kate’s mum, having lost his own mother, Princess Diana, in his teen years.

While it’s great to hear claims that William gets on so well with Kate’s parents, Kensington Palace have issued a statement explaining that some of the points raised in Tatler’s feature are inaccurate.

“This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication,” the statement reads.

This comes after the Duchess’ brother, James, shared a glimpse inside the Middleton family home, where he and his fiancé Alizee Thevenet have been spending lockdown.

Dog lover James shared a peep of the gorgeous country abode, when he took to social media to document a big moment.

In a video, shared on James’s Instagram, the future Queen consort’s brother can be seen shaving off his signature facial hair.

Carole, Michael and Alizee can be seen sat out in the golden hour sun, around a wooden table in the garden.

In the background, the family’s beautiful red brick home with pretty white paned windows is clearly visible – and looks totally dreamy.

Plenty of flowers, plants and greenery decorate the back garden and open French doors allowed a look inside of the house.

The rare clip shows bunting sweetly hanging on the wall and family photos on display, as well as what looks like a guest house.
