The Queen has been pictured driving around her Windsor residence. This is the first time in weeks that the Queen has been spotted after she was given doctors orders to stay at home.

Her Majesty has been photographed driving around her Windsor estate just days after the announcement that the Queen has been told by doctors to rest for two more weeks.

A statement from Buckingham Palace announced on Friday, October 29, 2021, "The doctors have advised that Her Majesty can continue to undertake light, desk-based duties during this time, including some virtual audiences, but not to undertake any official visits."

It is thought that the Queen will not be in attendance at another formal event until the National Service of Remembrance on Remembrance Sunday, on November 14.

However, fans were delighted when a photographer was able to snap an image of Her Majesty driving around her home's estate and looking in high spirits.

Fans were delighted to see that the Queen was feeling better and was back behind a wheel after her long time on bed rest.

"Living for the photos of the Queen driving herself around Windsor estate. Looks like she’s feeling better," said one fan.

"Her Majesty The Queen was spotted out driving in Windsor today. Pleased to see her out and about after advice to stay home. Her Majesty’s generation represents the best of us; an era with a can-do spirit, a time when you just got on with things instead of complaining about them," said another.

Although the Queen seems to be doing well, she has had to pull out of various activities that were due to take place in the next few weeks. The Queen pulled out of the COP 26 which was due to officially start on Monday, November 1, 2021.

Reports also stated that Her Majesty was unable to walk her dogs and the Queen missed church for the first time in years while she was recovering from her hospital stay.

Since the Queen's illness, Prince Harry has also been urged to fly to the UK in order to be by the Queen's side if her health should take a turn.

However, both Prince Harry and Prince William are currently not in the UK. Prince William and Kate Middleton are off on vacation for the half term with their children. But the Cambridge's have still reportedly reached out to Her Majesty. Kate Middleton's sweet gesture to the Queen took the form of homemade cards from Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis that were sent to their great-grandmother.

And although some members of the family are still abroad, the Queen has been visited by other members of the royal family, including her granddaughter Lady Louise who visited the Queen soon after she came out of the hospital.
