Prince William and Kate Middleton go on vacation with the kids, but where are they headed?
Prince William and Kate Middleton head off on holiday with their children as they spend time together for UK schools' half term
Photos snapped at Heathrow show Prince William, Kate Middleton and their brood are off on holiday—but where might the royal family be headed to for the half term?
- Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge, and their children were spotted at Heathrow Airport.
- The couple is taking their family on holiday for the half term, along with their Norland nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
- In other royal news, Queen misses church for the first time in years, as fans worry about her health.
Prince George and Charlotte's strict private school uniform rules have been left at the school gates as they join Prince Louis and their parents on vacation. School's out for the royal clan, who were spotted at Heathrow Airport on their way to a holiday destination.
Although it has not been confirmed where the royals are going to, there are rumors that the family could be headed to Greece for the wedding of their family friend Prince Philippos and Nina Flohr.
Princess Diana was the godmother to Prince Philippos so it could be that Prince William and his family are traveling to Greece for a half-term getaway along with wedding celebrations.
Kate and William dressed in warm but light layers of clothing, which could also suggest that they are headed to a warmer holiday destination.
During the past couple of years, when Duchess Kate and William have taken a holiday away from Kensington Palace, they have chosen a UK staycation to their family to their Norfolk home, Amner Hall. They also often spend time in the Isles of Scilly as well as the Lake District.
The photos showed that the royals are taking their nanny named Maria with them too, to help keep their children occupied during their holiday. This could suggest that the royals may be away for a longer period of time of up to a week or more.

If the royals decide to stay away for a full week, they will also be celebrating Halloween while they are on holiday. In previous years, Kate Middleton has been spotted in Sainsbury's shopping for Halloween costumes for her eldest children George and Charlotte.
A fellow shopper in Sainsbury's told the Daily Mail, "She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures. I managed to get the photo as she was at the self-service check out."
The source continued to say, "I didn't see what she actually bought. The lady, that told me she was there, had children with her and she said Kate was asking her children what they were going to be for Halloween. I think she bought some Halloween bits for her kinds but I don't know what."
It seems that the royal children like dressing up in scary costumes just like other children across the world. Perhaps the royal family will find a way to celebrate the spooky festive holiday while they are abroad.
