How much are artificial Christmas trees?

The price of artificial Christmas trees really varies depending on the size and quality of the tree and whether you want it to be pre-lit or not.

Luxury Christmas trees, such as those sold by John Lewis or The White Company, start at around £45 for a 4ft tree and can be as expensive as £850 for a 9ft Normann fir.

Bestselling artificial Christmas trees on Amazon can sell for anywhere in between £11.99 and £200.

What is the best pre-lit Christmas tree to buy?

When looking for the best Black Friday Christmas tree deals and trying to decide on which artificial fir or pre-lit tree is best for you, keep in mind that it's worth investing in a slightly more expensive tree. Not only will these last longer and be used for many years to come, but the cheapest trees on the market tend to look cheap too – which you don't want in your living room every December!

What to look out for when choosing a tree

One of the best things about artificial Christmas trees over real ones is that aesthetic-wise they boast perfect symmetry, looking good from all angles. Plus they're a lot neater with no dropped needles on the floor.

You really do get what you pay for when it comes to buying an artificial Christmas tree. It's worth spending the extra cash for a decent one that you'll use for years to come (it will help the environment too if you re-use) which is why it's a good idea to keep an eye out for the Black Friday deals so you can get more bang for your buck.

Top tip - go for a tree with a high tip count. The higher the tip count, the fuller the tree, and the more space for your ornaments.
