Krispy Kreme’s limited-edition Carnival Collection is bringing the fair to you

Doughnut lovers across the U.S. can bring home the sweet flavors of summertime carnivals now that Krispy Kreme has launched a limited-edition Carnival Collection featuring fair-inspired.

After previously partnering with OREO, Krispy Kreme now wants to bring the sweet and salty flavors of the carnival to you. The new flavors include some of your favorite classics like a caramel apple, cotton candy, and caramel popcorn. The doughnut company kicked off the launch with an official announcement on Twitter.

“Step right up and try our all NEW Carnival Doughnuts! Introducing Caramel Apple, Caramel Popcorn & Cotton Candy doughnuts! Hurry in, the Carnival won't be in town for long!” the brand tweeted.

Next time you take a trip to Krispy Kreme for your daily free doughnut, make sure you check out these new additions to the lineup. If you’re feeling adventurous this summer, then munch on the caramel apple-inspired flavor, which features a shell doughnut filled with caramel apple-flavored Kreme, dipped in green apple icing, drizzled with caramel, and topped off with rainbow sprinkles and a pretzel stick. Bite into an original glazed doughnut—with a twist. The cotton candy-inspired flavor features colorful cotton candy icing, and decorated with buttercream and rainbow sprinkles. The caramel popcorn Kreme-filled option also comes topped with a caramel drizzle and caramel popcorn pieces.

“Carnivals are a summertime tradition and whether yours has returned or not after a year off, you can get a taste of your favorite fair flavors with these delicious new doughnuts,” said Dave Skena, the chief marketing officer for Krispy Kreme in a statement.

The sugary sweet carnival flavors won’t be here forever though, you can enjoy these fun-filled limited-edition doughnuts until August 8.
