M&S has launched a polka dot collared midi dress that is taking the internet by storm – and it's even tipped to be the new “Zara dress”.
As we all frantically search around for the best bras and shapewear to enhance our spring wardrobes, the high street retailer shared a snap of the dress on its Instagram account and it's given everyone summer vibes – with one excited shopper declaring it the “dress of dreams”.
M&S captioned the post “We’ll find any excuse to wear this polka-dot shirt dress, and if the sun won’t shine we’ll just find the perfect sunshine yellow doorway ☀️📸 @theturquoiseflamingo”
The post has since had more than 7,000 likes and comments praising its prettiness. It’s a perfect outfit for those socially distanced groups of six at an outdoor meet-up.
The dotty M&S dress is available in either regular or long lengths and sizes range from six to 24 but you will have to be quick as they're selling out pretty fast.
It comes after Holly Willoughby wore a polka dot dress on This Morning earlier this year, and it seems the print is still in fashion as fans are blown away by how beautiful this new version looks. One wrote “This is gorgeous!!” another shopper put “Want *sigh*” and a third added “Dress of dreams right there”.
It’s also been given five-star reviews on the M&S website, with happy customers praising the “soft fabric” and ”comfortable” fit.
One wrote “This is a gorgeous dress, lovely soft fabric that hangs beautifully and doesn’t crease. The bodice is a little large but I shall have it taken in and then It will be perfect!” Meanwhile, another accessorized it with a black belt and wrote, ”Bought this last week looks better on add a black belt and heels looks great.”
Shoppers went crazy for Zara's dotty dress in 2020 and this M&S dress is an updated version for 2021 and is set to be just as popular – with everyone trying to get their hands on one.

M&S will also be selling rival clothing brands as it launches Brands at M&S this spring.
