Prince William and Kate Middleton are preparing to celebrate two occasions tomorrow and will no doubt be looking to make things extra special for their young children as they continue to grieve the loss of Prince Philip.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have now returned to royal duties following the death of Prince Philip on April 9. The couple were amongst the 30 guests who attended the Duke of Edinburgh’s moving funeral service at St George’s Chapel to pay their respects to the Queen’s husband of 73 years. William also walked behind his grandfather’s coffin with his brother Prince Harry, albeit separated by their cousin Peter Phillips.

William broke his silence following Philip’s death to pay tribute to him with a heartfelt photo and revealed just how much he appreciates the fact his children will have wonderful memories of their great-grandfather. William and Kate are also said to have found a very special way to help their children cope with his death and remember him.

It’s clear just how much family meant to the Duke of Edinburgh. So he will likely be very much in their thoughts as William and Kate prepare to celebrate two significant occasions tomorrow despite their grief.

What will Prince William and Kate Middleton be celebrating tomorrow?

The Queen has now come out of official royal mourning for Prince Philip, the day after her 95th birthday. But hers is not the only royal birthday this month, as on April 23, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s youngest child, Prince Louis, will turn 3 years old!

The Cambridges will no doubt be preparing a wonderful family day for their son to mark this huge occasion and if history is anything to go by, Kate will be particularly involved.

The Duchess of Cambridge previously revealed during an appearance on Mary Berry's A Berry Royal Christmas in 2019 that she enjoys making her children’s birthday cakes - no matter how long they take!

"I love making the cake. It's become a bit of a tradition that I stay up until midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing and I make far too much. But I love it," she said.

And that’s not all! As April 23 also marks St George’s Day, the day of the Patron Saint of England.

For each of the Patron Saints Days across the UK, the Royal Family, including William and Kate usually share a special post on social media.

Just last month for St David’s Day, they shared a beautiful picture taken during their visit to Wales last year, which showed the couple in front of Cardiff Castle bearing the Welsh flag.

It may be that royal fans will get to see multiple special posts from William and Kate tomorrow as they celebrate both these significant occasions.
