Prince George went from jubilant to heartbroken in the space of two hours as England failed to scoop the Euros 2020 cup in Sunday night's nail-bitingly tense finale.
The future King joined his mother and father in the royal box at Wembley and watched on as Gareth Southgate's team put up a great fight against Italy.
And, with a goal scored by Luke Shaw within the first two minutes of the game, Prince George—like the rest of the country—could not contain his excitement.
The seven-year-old was pictured grinning from ear-to-ear and celebrating with his parents, who were joined by the likes of David Beckham, Tom Cruise, and Kate Moss in the royal box.
Ever since Prince George attended the epic quarter-final match and baffled everyone with his outfit choice, football fans were convinced he could help England win.
But sadly, just two hours later, Prince George's face told a different story. He looked glum and disappointed when England lost the match on penalties.

Having followed the entire tournament and attended the last three matches at Wembley, Prince William—who could break royal protocol and move his family to a "more prestigious" home—spoke on behalf of his entire family in a post-match statement.
"Heartbreaking. Congratulations on a great victory @Azzurri, you’ve all come so far, but sadly this time it wasn’t our day. You can all hold your heads high, and be so proud of yourselves — I know there’s more to come. W," he tweeted.
It was a busy weekend for the Duchess of Cambridge. Just one day after stunning in a vibrant green dress, the Duchess attended the men's final at Wimbledon, just hours before the match. She wore a pink belted dress by London designer Beulah for the men's final, which she watched with her father, Michael Middleton.
After cheering on Novak Djokovic and Matteo Berrettini on Centre Court, the Duchess made a quick dash across London to reunite with Prince William and Prince George at Wembley—and slipped into patriotic colors for the occasion.
She kept things simple with black jeans, a white top and a blazer, but her red statement earrings made it clear which team she was supporting.
