In a BBC Interview titled, Prince Charles and His Battle for Our Planet, the Prince of Wales revealed that he dedicated transformed a piece of land near Balmoral Castle into an arboretum, and then named it after his firstborn grandson, Prince George.
In the interview, Prince Charles, who is the oldest of the Queen's children, said, “This was a rather empty field that the farm didn't need anymore.”
“The great thing was, I managed to plant it the same year that my grandson was born, the eldest, George. So, I thought I'd call it Prince George's Wood."
The interviewer then commented on the lovely colors of the woods and the Prince of Wales replied, “It’s really for autumn color and a bit of Spring, but autumn is the magic up here. So finding all the interesting trees and shrubs that turn an interesting color is half the battle.”

In the interview, Prince Charles also expressed his concerns about the planet that is being left for his grandchildren.
Climate editor Justin Rowlatt said to Charles, "You call it Prince George's Wood, it's a legacy and inheritance for your grandchildren, all of our grandchildren if we're lucky enough to have them, will inherit the earth that we bequeath them, how worried are you about the state of that inheritance?"

The Prince responded, "Deeply worried. I mean it's the main reason I've spent forty, fifty years or more [on this issue]." He added, "I've always felt that we are somehow trained to believe that nature is a separate thing from us that we can just exploit."

Prince Charles has five grandchildren named, George, Charlotte, Louis, Archie, and Lilibet. These five children are also some of the Queen's 12 great-grandchildren.
Although there are many images of Prince Charles spending time with his eldest son, William's children, as his younger son Harry has moved to the US with his family, the Prince rarely sees his young grandchildren. Reportedly, Prince Charles is desperate to meet new granddaughter Lilibet and loves spending time with his grandchildren.
