The Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk's wife Lauren has given birth to twins.
The couple have confirmed the safe arrival of the Luyendyk twins—a boy and a girl, delivered last night.
Arie—who was The Bachelor in 2018, where he met his now-wife Lauren—documented their wait for the babies from the inside hospital over the weekend.
Speaking to camera on Instagram, he said, "This is happening! Lauren is just so excited, she started crying right away.
"I feel like this is excitement, relief. There was a chance we weer going to go home but thankfully they could fit us in."

"Next time you see me I'll be holding a couple of babies."
Arie's excitement culminated in a post simply saying, "@luyendyktwins are here! Momma and babies are doing great and everything went smoothly."
"Spending time cherishing these moments, thank you for all the support."
The couple are already proud parents to two-year-old Alessi.
Arie and Lauren's baby announcement is good news for Bachelor Nation following the shocking news that Chris Harrison has officially left The Bachelor after 19 years.
The TV personality and his team have reportedly been in talks with WBTV and ABC over the past few days negotiating the terms of his exit, first reported by Deadline.
According to the outlet, "Harrison will receive a rose of his own in the form of mid-range eight-figure payoff and promise to keep his mouth shut."
While neither party has made an official announcement yet, the news comes right after the season 17 premiere of The Bachelorette. Supposedly, the premiere was Chris's deadline for final negotiations regarding his exit from the franchise.
It comes after show creators could not excuse his comments defending Rachel Kirkconnell's racism—something Chris has since said he regrets.
Chris Harrison first defended Rachael’s behavior in an interview with former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay. In the interview, Chris stated that people should have, "a little grace, a little understanding, a little compassion," for Racheal Kirconell—who was photographed dressed in Native American clothing at a costume party and attending a distasteful plantation-themed 'Old South' ball.
"It was a mistake," Chris said. "I am an imperfect man, I made a mistake and I own that."
