Netflix’s You confirms Season 3 cast
So who will play Joe’s new obsession?

By Laura Harman
Netflix has just confirmed the line up for the third season of You. So which cast members will be returning and who is joining the series? Warning: This article contains spoilers.
The psychological thriller Netflix show has lived rent free in our heads since the first season. Since the show announced last year that there would be a third season, there has been a lot of speculation about who will be in the new cast.
However, the biggest question is who is that new neighbor Joe saw at the end of season 2, and will she be his new obsession?

After the first series, the characters who weren’t murdered by Joe (Penn Badgley) were largely written off when he relocated from New York to Los Angeles to start his life over again — and get away from his murderous impulses.
The second season featured Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti of The Haunting of Bly Manor) and her brother, Forty (James Scully).
Forty was sadly killed off in season 2, as was Delilah (Carmela Zumbado), Henderson (Chris D’Elia), and Candace (Ambyr Childers).
No wonder the series has had to employ some new talent, they’ve killed off so many characters they need to recast the whole show!
Who’s returning?
We know that Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will both be returning as the killer couple living in suburbia with a baby on the way.
It is also confirmed that Saffron Burrows will return, and her character Dottie, Love’s mother, will feature more heavily in this upcoming series. Her storyline will focus on her son Forty's death and her involvement in her new grandchild’s life.
Who’s Joe’s next target?
At the end of the last series, we watched as Joe found the next focus of his unwanted attention in the woman next door. The character, named Natalie, will be played by Michaela McManus (The Orville, The Village).
Deadline discovered more about McManus’ Natalie character and stated, “Married to a powerful man, Natalie is [a] professional and social success. But she sees through the shallow, Stepford-esque vibe that surrounds her, and beneath her wry exterior, she leads a secret life.”
So, it sounds like we'll be watching Joe actively pursue a married woman while he juggles parenthood and being married to a serial killer...while also being a serial killer himself.
That's exactly the kind of drama we want to see. Not be a part of. Just watch.

Who's joining the cast?
Scott Speedman (Felicity) will be joining the show as a cast regular, as will Dylan Arnold (Halloween, Nashville), Tati Gabrielle (Uncharted, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Travis Van Winkle (The Last Ship), and Ayelet Zurer (Angels & Demons).
Other cast members include Shannon Chan-Kent (Good Trouble, Another Life), Ben Mehl (The Good Wife), Chris O’Shea (Madam Secretary), and Christopher Sean (Days of Our Lives, Hawaii Five-0).
Sounds like the Stepford neighborhood is going to have a whole crew of very good looking couples. Dinner party at Joe and Love's place, anyone?

The series has so far been based on the books You and Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes. The next book in the saga will be released on April 6, 2021, and is titled You Love Me, which sounds pretty sinister given the context.
Filming will occur before this release in February, so who knows if the series will be a continuation of the book! All we can say is that we hope they get on with filming so we can start watching the new season!
