Prince William and Kate Middleton have revealed they’re “thinking” of all those unable to spend Christmas with their loved ones in a sweet social media post.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge marked Christmas morning with a statement, which read, “This Christmas will be different to what so many of us had planned.
“For those who are alone or having to isolate away from loved ones, to the incredible people supporting our NHS and caring for those most in need—we are thinking of you. W&C.”
With the pandemic still gripping the world and the new Omicron variant forcing people to self-isolate over Christmas, there are millions of people unable to spend the festive period with their family and loved ones.

It will be the Queen’s first Christmas as a widow after her husband, Prince Philip, who sadly passed away in April. The 95-year-old Monarch will be joined by her son, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
Princess Anne was also due to attend but will now stay at home after her husband, Timothy Laurence, tested positive for covid-19.
It’s no surprise the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have said their Christmas is different to planned as they won’t be spending it with the Queen for the second year running.
Instead, the Cambridge family are thought to be spending Christmas at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk, where they’ll be joined by other members of the Middleton family.
It comes just weeks after it emerged the Queen was determined to host a Christmas to remember after last year's festivities were cancelled.
