Adele's fans are excited as she hints at new music while reminiscing on the tenth anniversary of her album 21. This comes just a few days after Adele was "forced to use a mediator" to split her £140m fortune as she and ex Simon Konecki reach a settlement.

Adele fans think their long wait for new music may be over soon as she makes a rare return to social media via Instagram.

Adele's last album, titled 25, came out in 2015 and comprised 11 tracks, including the iconic "Hello" and the popular "When We Were Young."

Her fans have waited (not so) patiently for six long years for the singer's next album. But following Adele's most recent Instagram post, things could be about to change.

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of her album 21, Adele took to Instagram to reminisce about her life-changing phenomenal album.

The artist wrote: “Well I never! Happy 10 years old friend! It’s crazy how little I remember of what it was like and how I felt a decade ago.”

She went on to thank her fans for their continued support, “Thank You from the bottom of my heart for letting us into your lives and letting me be a soundtrack to some of it.”

Fans believe that this rare use of social media from the star could signal that she plans to release her album soon.

In October 2020, Adele revealed, on an episode of Saturday Night Live, that she was working on an album but it was not finished yet.

During the SNL appearance, she said, “Now I know there’s been a lot of chatter about me just being the host — I’ve seen all of it — like, why isn’t  she the musical guest and stuff like that...”

She revealed that one of the key reasons she didn’t perform on SNL was because she hasn’t completed her next album. “My albums not finished,” she said in the broadcast.

Fans had hoped that Adele’s appearance on the SNL would coincide with her next album launch, but they were left disappointed.

Fans took to Adele’s most recent album to beg the star for new music. One fan wrote, “Ok. But we are bleeding for a new album.” Another agreed and commented, “New album soon pleaseeeeee.”
