John F. Kennedy's childhood holiday home could be yours this summer – if you're willing to forgo Wi-Fi that is.

The stunning Domaine de Valbonne was frequented by the late US President during the 1930s when his father served as ambassador to Great Britain. The young John reportedly enjoyed multiple breaks at the opulent house, which later became famous as the site of his very first swimming lessons.

The property, now run by high-end rental company onefinestay, is now available to vacationers looking for an extra special getaway over the sunny season.

Nestled in the breathtaking valley of Valbonne in southern France, the grandiose manor promises guests a retreat from the stresses of urban life. The mansion's interior, which includes extravagant period features such as chandeliers, historical artworks and antique furnishings, is designed to make its occupants feel like aristocrats.

The fairytale vibe extends throughout the house, with its bedroom windows overlooking garden, courtyard and sea views. Guests will have a choice of nine bedrooms, all of which are kitted out with luxurious ensuites for maximum privacy.

Its outdoor grounds are brimming with gorgeous plants, including mature cypress trees and Mediterranean flora. Horticulture enthusiasts will be pleased to find a maintained vegetable garden and an olive grove, while sportier guests will be delighted to discover the 25-meter marble swimming pool and tennis court.

The property may sound positively perfect, but it does lack one major modern must-have – Wi-Fi. Internet connection is not included in the cost of the stay, meaning guests will have to figure out an alternative means of feeding their digital addiction. They could also just commit to a screen detox for the week, but we have a feeling no amount of luxury is worth those withdrawals.
