The much-anticipated House of Gucci trailer has finally dropped, finally giving us a tease at what’s-to-come. While Lady Gaga’s sultry Italian accent made our jaws drop, we couldn’t help but feel tantalized over her glamorous 90s wardrobe.

The trailer for the upcoming biopic features Lady Gaga and Adam Driver in stunning costumes, which we’d expect nothing less for a movie on the Gucci empire. Right from the start she walks out covered in expensive fur and dripping in gold and says "It was a name that sounded so sweet, so seductive."

The fashion biopic is based on the book "The House Of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed," by Sara Gay Forden, and takes place in Italy in 1995. The film centers on the story of Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani (played by Gaga), who after marrying the heir to the Gucci “throne,” Maurizio Gucci (played by Adam Driver), she is later sentenced to 29 years in prison for the attempted murder of her husband. Thanks to the work of the film’s costume designer, Janty Yates, Gaga’s fashion quite literally looks dressed to kill.

From soft and expensive furs, a wedding dress that makes us want to get married, and the best sunglasses that ooze drama. Yates was reportedly given full access to Gucci’s archival collections, according to an article by Variety. With the freedom to include more decade-accurate pieces, Lady Gaga’s character more than pulled off the vintage 80s-inspired fashion that took over the era.

Gucci wasn’t the only brand referenced in the film though, the actress was also spotted on set wearing a vintage Burberry coat, showing us how to wear a trench coat. During the early scenes of the trailer, you can also spot vintage and contemporary ready-to-wear fashion by other designers including Sandro and Max Mara.

The trailer may have given us a small glimpse, but based on the stunning looks we’ve seen so far, November 24 can’t come fast enough.
