Ingredients

  • 900g blackberries
  • 450g caster sugar
  • 400ml (14fl oz) gin

YOU WILL NEED

  • sterilised bottles

Method

  1. Place the blackberries and sugar in a large pan and cook down very gently. Stir until the fruit becomes pulpy and the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Pour the gin into a jug and strain the fruit mix into this. Stir well and pour into the sterilised bottles. It will last for 1 month.
