We all know that the Queen watches Strictly, and who could forget when Duchess Camilla appeared on the Strictly Come Dancing final in 2020 - watching the celebrities as they did their final dances. However, it might be time for one of The Firm to get training for the new season, according to The Sun (opens in new tab).
The producers' main targets, according to the publication, are Lady Louise Windsor and Mike Tindall - two firm fan favorites who are surely to pull in the viewers. A source told the publication, “The team are doing all they can. In the year of the Platinum Jubilee, it has been a real priority.”
So who's most likely to be Strictly's royal contestant? Speaking exclusively to woman&home, Alex Apati of Ladbrokes (opens in new tab) shared his insight on who, of the two, is most likely to hit the dancefloor next season.
Alex shared, "A royal coup has been on Strictly's wanted list for some time, and the latest odds suggest chiefs may well get their wish this year, with Mike Tindall being just 6/1 to sign up for the next series."
One of the best bits of the Platinum Jubilee, according to fans, was when Mike Tindall teased Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie in a hilarious Instagram post. So much so, that many fans called for him to become the official commentator of the week's proceedings.
In light of his natural flair for humor and his career as a broadcaster on his podcast, The Good, The Bad, and The Rugby - perhaps he's an ideal candidate after all.
Lady Louise's dress at an official event recently proved the youngster's style is top-notch, but will she be showing off her moves as well? According to Alex, the odds of Lady Louise being Strictly's royal contestant are 10/1 - less than Mike but not totally impossible!
On top of that, it out that it might not be too much of a commute for Strictly's royal contestant as a huge fan of Strictly, Duchess Camilla, is said to be in talks to hold live episode of Strictly Come Dancing at Buckingham Palace.
