Sophie Wessex's sparkling gown was the center of attention as the Countess appeared at an important event in a full length sparkling sequin dress which emulates some of the gowns worn by Duchess Catherine.
- The Countess of Wessex hosted a dinner for the Ambulance service at Windsor Castle.
- Sophie looked fantastic in a floor-length silver sequined gown, a look that is more commonly associated with Kate Middleton.

The Royal Family shared a stunning photo of the Countess of Wessex as she was joined by Princess Anne and the Duke of Gloucester for an important event.
The caption of the post on Instagram read, "The Princess Royal, The Duke of Gloucester and The Countess of Wessex yesterday hosted a dinner to celebrate the work of @stjohn_ambulance at Windsor Castle. Their Royal Highnesses are Commandant-in-Chief (Youth), Grand Prior of the Order of St John and Grand President of St John Ambulance respectively."

Fans loved this look from the Countess and took to social media to compliment her style. "Oh Sophie, Countess of Wessex… 💖💫Nailed it as usual…," said one fan. "Wow. Look at how stunning they all look. ❤️ amazing tribute to the ambulance service," said one commenter.
Typically when it comes to formal attire, royals tend to shy away from sequins and sparkles and go for more demure attire. The only royal who is known to break this typical protocol is Kate Middleton who wowed at the James Bond No Time to Die premiere in 2021 with a stunning gold sequined dress.
Even in the early days of being a member of the Royal Family, Kate Middleton's dresses were often sequined, and the Duchess used sparkling gowns to show her youthful style and sense of fashion.
In 2013, just a couple of years after Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding day, Catherine was photographed at the Tusk Conservation Awards wearing a full-length silver sequined gown that was a very similar style to the look worn by the Countess of Wessex.

While Kate might be the member of the Royal Family who is most known for loving sparkles, it's clear that this was a fantastic style tip borrowed by the Countess of Wessex who looked incredible at this important event.
