Royals fans are getting excited over a beautiful flower cake, which they think was made for Lilibet's first birthday last week.

Yesterday The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released the first official photo of their second child, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten Windsor - and royals fans were excited to see her dressed in a cute blue dress, with a bow in her hair.

The adorable photo was taken by friend of the family Misan Harriman, during Lilibet's first birthday party at Frogmore Cottage, their old house and where they stayed during their trip to the UK for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

The first pictures of Lilibet Diana also had Prince Harry fans seeing double as they thought she looked just like her famous dad. However royals fans are now convinced that a cake with peonies, which royal baker Claire Ptak made and posted to her Instagram account, was made for Lillibet's first birthday party - and enjoyed by the royals on the day.

Meghan, who wore a very casual outfit at Lilibet's celebrations, is a fan of Claire Ptak's cakes - as she chose her to make their wedding cake in 2018, while Harry opted for one of her cakes for the 40th birthday cake for Meghan - which cost $200.

Claire posted a picture of the cake on her Instagram over the weekend, and fans loved the creation, with over 2000 likes. While royal fans also left messages on the picture.

One royal fan started the conversation with, "Might this be the cake for the lovely Lili?!" While others chirped in with, "Just as cute as Lili Diana is."

Another royal fan said, "Absolutely beautiful for a precious little Princess," and one more said, "I believe the flowers are peonies. Meghan’s favourite."

Yesterday Meghan and Prince Harry released the sweet picture of Lilibet - who is seen sitting on a patch of grass and smiling away from the camera. Thie daughter turned one on Saturday - with royals including Prince William and Kate Middleton sending Lilibet birthday wishes.
