Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, has reportedly moved in with the couple at their California home.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have invited Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland to join them at their $18 million rented house in the Hollywood hills.

With the world in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, it is thought Doria could offer a helping hand to the couple with their son, Archie.

An insider told The Sun, "Doria has her own quarters and whilst a few of Harry’s chums have been ribbing him about living with his mother-in-law, he has a brilliant relationship with her."

Adapting to life in the limelight hasn’t been easy for Meghan and it is thought Doria is one of the few people she and Harry trust.

"Harry adores Doria and thinks she’s incredibly wise," a palace insider told the Mail on Sunday. ‘These days, the Sussexes trust very, very few people even in their own respective families.”

Their LA mansion – which boasts its own granny annex for Doria to live in – belongs to American actor, Tyler Perry.

Prince Harry and Meghan have been living in the luxury Hollywood hideout since moving to California in March.

The luxury 22-acre property is located in exclusive and highly sought after Beverly Ridge gated community and comes with its own security team.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are staying in the 8-bedroom, 12-bathroom villa with their son Archie, who turned one last month.

It is thought Meghan and Harry’s close friend, Oprah Winfrey – who attended their wedding in May 2018 – put them in touch with Tyler.

A source revealed, “Beverly Ridge has its own guarded gate and Tyler’s property has a gate of its own which is watched by their security team.

“Beverly Ridge is an excellent place to keep out of view. The neighbours are mostly old money and mega rich business types rather than show business gossips.”

As well as being highly desirable given its high security, the pad is said to be “stunning”.
