Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle both paid tribute to Princess Diana with their choice of jewellery at recent royal events in the US and across the pond in the UK.

Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry were in attendance at the Salute to Freedom Gala at New York’s Intrepid Museum.

Meghan looked stunning in a red Carolina Herrera gown and complimented her gorgeous dress with a classic diamond tennis bracelet that was once owned by Princess Diana.

The timeless Cartier bracelet was a favorite of Princess Diana's and retails for an eye-watering amount of $52,000 (£38,700). Meghan was praised for this stunning ensemble as she paid tribute to fallen soldiers ahead of remembrance day.

At this same event, Meghan Markle reflected on her relationship with Prince Harry as she revealed, 'I'm always proud of him.'

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, also wore a unique pair heirloom that once belonged to Diana. Instead of a bracelet, the Duchess wore a pair of sapphire blue earrings that match her engagement ring—another item that also once belonged to the Princess of Wales.

The earrings were remodeled for Kate shortly after she married Prince William in 2011. The sapphire stones are surrounded by diamonds and were worn by Princess Diana on countless occasions during the 80s and 90s.

The Duchess wore these heirloom earrings on the same day that Meghan chose to wear the diamond bracelet, Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

At the royal engagement on Wednesday, Kate Middleton showed her caring side as she hugged and chatted with Holocaust survivors at a gallery opening event in London.

Meghan and Kate both wore these cherished heirlooms at events for Remembrance Day 2021. In a way, the two Duchesses found a way to also remember their late mother-in-law by paying tribute to her with their choice of jewelry.

The Queen, Prince William, and Kate Middleton have already made Remembrance Day tributes through their respective social media accounts.

As the Remembrance celebrations continue, all eyes will be on the royal family as they pay tribute to those who have died servicing the armed forces.
