Olivia Wilde praises Harry Styles for 'allowing a woman to hold the spotlight'
Olivia Wilde has gushed about the One Direction star as filming wraps on her latest film
Olivia Wilde praises Harry Styles for the way the singer-turned-actor composes himself on the set of their upcoming film.
As a director, Olivia is at the helm of the new female-led movie Don't Worry Darling, and she posted a tribute to the One Direction star which praised his attitude towards the female cast of the psychological thriller.
Olivia, 36, was engaged to actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis, with whom she has two children, but their break-up after almost 10 years was reported in 2020. And since then she has been romantically linked to Harry, 27, through speculation on social media. The rumor-mill will be in over-drive after she gushed about him in a recent post...

She told her 3.8million Instagram followers, 'Little known fact: most male actors don’t want to play supporting roles in female-led films. The industry has raised them to believe it lessens their power (i.e financial value) to accept these roles, which is one of the reasons it’s so hard to get financing for movies focusing on female stories. No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow for a woman to hold the spotlight.'
She then went on to praise Harry, who plays Jack in the movie, for breaking the trend. She continued, 'Enter: @harrystyles, our “Jack”. Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our “Alice”, but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity. He didn’t have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards. 👊 #dontworrydarling'

Meanwhile, as filming has now wrapped, as the cast posed together for one group shot before going their different ways, Harry is able to focus on his music. Last month he released his new single Treat People With Kindness.
Harry, whose mother Anne revealed his adorable nickname on his 27th birthday, is pictured with his arm wrapped around his boss Olivia, with some of the stars with their face masks in hand.
