Kaley Cuoco took to Instagram to react to her Golden Globe defeat. The star was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Television Series for her performance in The Flight Attendant but lost out on the prestigious award.
Other nominees in the category included Lily Collins for Emily in Paris, Elle Fanning for The Great, Jane Levy for Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, and the winner, Catherine O’Hara for Schitt’s Creek.
The star took to Instagram to joke about her defeat. The image showed Kaley sitting in a ball gown on the floor surrounded by comfort food. She captioned the photo, “I would like to thank...never mind !!”

Kaley sat on the floor with a bottle of champagne in her hand and a chocolate cake in her lap. She was surrounded by pizza, macaroni and cheese, cupcakes and a sheet cake that said, ‘Good Luck Kaley’ printed on the cake. Her hair extensions and high heels were also kicked off and sitting on the floor next to the actress.
The photo already has hundreds of thousands of likes and fans are loving this hilarious reaction from the star. Some fans tried to console Kaley following her loss. One fan commented, “I’m proud of you! Flight Attendant was awesome! One Day.” Another enthusiastic fan commented, “Next time queen! You’re a great actress and this is just the beginning”
Celeb friends of Kaley also commented, Zosia Mamet (Girls) commented, “just when I think I can’t love you any more.” Another celebrity pal, Ashley Jones (True Blood) said, “always a winner. And the award for best loser goes to….”
For the event, the star wore for grey Oscar de la Renta dress that was embellished with silver stars. She paired the look with Harry Winston jewellery and Stuart Weitzman shoes.

Kaley Cuoco lost out on the award to Catherine O’Hara. Just a few days before the ceremony, Kaley took to Instagram to share her excitement that she has met the star.
Kaley looked starstruck in the image and captioned the photo of the two of them, “Anyone who knows me knows what this moment meant to me. I finally met my comedy queen #catherineohara and she’s everything I hoped and dreamed.”
