Christmas might look a little different this year, but we can always rely on The Cambridge’s Christmas card photo to provide some much needed festive cheer.
Dressed down in a cosy palette of greens, greys and reds, there’s no denying all members of the family look completely gorgeous, but for us, it was Princess Charlotte’s Christmas outfit that stole the show.
Posing up a storm in a festive jumper by Ralph Lauren and mini-me boots from Penelope Chivers, it’s clear the Princess is set to follow in the Duchess of Cambridge’s footsteps as something of a style icon. We know - we never thought we’d be taking fashion inspiration from a 5-year-old either, but 2020 really is full of surprises.

While Princess Charlotte’s exact Ralph Lauren knit might not come in grown-up sizes, their womenswear range has got us covered - with a woolen Fair Isle crew neck and cardie. Even better, both pieces are in the winter sale, with more than 30% off the RRP. Sizes are selling out fast, so shop soon to avoid disappointment.
Princess Charlotte’s Penelope Chiver’s Mini-Me Tassel Boots currently come with a lengthy waiting list, but lucky for us, the grown-up version is still in stock.
The Duchess of Cambridge is a huge fan of the brand, and has been spotted wearing her conker brown Tassel Boots on a number of occasions since 2004. Effortlessly elegant, they look just as good with dresses as they do with form-fitting jeans and a tweed blazer.

Polo Ralph Lauren Fair Isle Crewneck Jumper
Reduced to £174.30, this royal-approved jumper just became a whole lot more tempting. The supersoft cashmere blend fabric, pretty print and cute scalloped cuffs more than justify the high-end price tag.
Ralph Lauren Fair Isle Wool Cardigan
Part of Ralph Lauren's more premium main line, this jumper is now reduced to £409.50. Not quite within our festive budget, but we can only hope to find one in our stockings on Christmas day!
Penelope Chilvers Tassel Boots
Cleverly cut to guarantee a flattering fit on the ankle and calf, these boots are seriously luxurious. Buttery soft leather and the classic scallop trim elevate them from the high-street.
Jones Bootmaker Quilted Leather Knee High Boot
Love Kate's style but don't quite have the budget to match? These Jones Bootmaker riding boots are ticking all our boxes at a fraction of the price.

She caught the magazine bug during a stint as Fashion Editor of her university newspaper alongside her English degree, and hasn’t looked back since. As for the fashion bug, that came as part and parcel of growing up in the 90s, but the less said about that the better!
Jess’ average day in the office is spent researching the latest fashion trends, chatting to industry tastemakers and scouring the internet to bring you this season’s must-buy pieces - as well as advice on how to wear them. Weekends are equally fashion-focused, and Jess has been known to visit no less than five Zara stores in a single day in search of the perfect occasion dress.
The only thing that comes close to a buzz of finally tracking down that much-coveted dress is the joy of discovering a new beauty wonder product or hero ingredient. A beauty obsessive, Jess has tried everything from cryotherapy to chemical peels (minus the Samantha in Sex and The City-worthy redness) and interviewed experts including Jo Malone and Trinny Woodall.
