We're so ready for autumn. Cosy knitwear and coats, sunny but chilly days, pumpkin spice lattes - and The Great British Bake Off. Nigella Lawson is a new addition to the judging panel this time around, and if today's sneak peek is anything to go by, she's going to bring a whole lot of glamour to the tent.

She posted a teaser clip on Instagram, and we instantly recognised her eye-catching purple jumpsuit. It's the ME+EM Very Wide-Leg Jumpsuit, which we've already spotted on Maureen Lipman and Good Morning Britain's Charlotte Hawkins.

Featuring flattering little sleeves, an adjustable zip front and flowy wide-leg trousers, this is the ultimate one-and-done outfit that feels much more polished than jeans. It looks effortlessly stylish the way Nigella wore hers, paired with white trainers, and the best news is it's currently reduced by a massive 60% in the ME+EM sale.

It's likely Nigella's jumpsuit will soon sell out, so don't wait until The Great British Bake Off is back on our screens before you invest. Bravo to her stylist Elena Garcia for putting this purple look back on our radar - the only reason we haven't bought it before now was the price tag, which is much easier to justify now it's in the sale!

ME+EM is the British clothing brand that fashion editors and insiders rave about, so this jumpsuit is a great place to start your collection. Aside from anything else, not having to stand in front of the mirror and figure out whether this top works with those jeans five minutes before you need to leave is well worth the splurge. The best jumpuits really will make dressing for any plans so easy.

When it comes to accessories, you can definitely keep it simple as Nigella has. The violet colour is bold enough on its own, so just opt for subtle gold jewellery and a neutral handbag.
