On her trip to Thailand last week Lisa Snowdon stepped out in a New Look dress that's looking set to become a must-have for fashion fans. The dress, a classic polka dot number, also reminds us that the humble spot is still the hottest print of 2019.
The TV presenter and former Strictly star's Instagram followers were quick to compliment her, and the £27.99 dress, which is from the Rochelle Hume's collection at New Look.
Lisa was on a trip, taking some well needed time out in Thailand for Meditation, contemplation and healing. She posted…"Stepping out on my last day of the trip in this gorgeous new number from @newlook. The perfect transitional dress you can wear with a bare leg and a heel like I have here or throw on some chunky boots and a leather biker jacket and you are good to go for Autumn/Winter! "
The midi dress, with its flattering square neckline (perfect for larger busts) and pretty puff sleeves comes in sizes 6-18. As Lisa mentions bare legs may be okay for Thailand but back here in blighty we’ll be wearing ours with tights, chunky boots, a winter coat and cosy scarf. Polka dots have been the star print of 2019.Back in the summer Zara’s famous £39.99 polka dot dress, which had its very own Instagram account dedicated to it, showed the selling power of polka dots. It contributed towards Zara’s parent company Inditex's growth by 5 per cent over a six-month period!
And the trend shows no sign of going anywhere as polka dots continued to be shown at New York fashion week this September in the spring 2020 collections. So if you are tempted by this dress you can be assured it will still look as fresh and on-trend next year as this.
